Meet our Contributing Partners

Leandre Larouche
We are very pleased that Leandre has joined us on our journey. Please take a moment and get to know SGP’s new editor.
Originally from the province of Quebec, Leandre has lived, studied, and worked in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. At the age of 21, he published his first book, a psychological novel, and then completed studies in English literature and professional writing. His work as an academic writing tutor and editor led him to develop a proprietary writing method, The Architecture of Writing. Today he is the president and owner of Trivium Writing Inc., an education business dedicated to writing.
Leandre’s passion lies at the intersection of business, writing, politics, and personal development. He is a strong advocate for civil discourse and believes that writing is the key to solving our current societal issues. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring Toronto coffee shops, reading about current events, and reading across different disciplines. His friends describe him as a combination of relentlessness, humour, and measure.
Leandre is currently working on a writing-related textbook series and a book about 21st-century political polarization. His primary goals are to develop and promote a sophisticated worldview, encourage healthy, conscious communication, and make writing accessible to everyone who wants to write. He believes that positive change comes through education and dialogue.

Kimberley Black
We are very pleased that Kimberley has decided to join our merry band of creative social entrepreneurs on this journey of collaboration. Please take a moment and get to know SGP’s new partner.
Kimberley Black says she is excited to work alongside Neil Gonsalves (M.Ed) and Brian Sankarsingh, at Sankarsingh-Gonsalves Productions to collaborate on a variety of projects that will inspire and empower internationally trained and educated professionals with the pragmatic and visceral skills needed to succeed in their job search.
Kimberley is a Canadian-born Gen Xer who grew up in the Toronto area at a time when the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Multiculturalism Act came into existence. Being exposed to the rich multiculturalism of urban life, she took for granted that diversity, equity, and inclusion were customary and commonplace. Today, she understands that having good intentions doesn’t always guarantee good results but that she could be solution-oriented through leadership initiatives.
Kimberley is a college educator who teaches communications and job search strategies to both Canadian-born and international students. Recognizing the challenge that many post-secondary graduates and international professionals have with securing employment, Kimberley developed Video Resume Academy to teach job seekers video communication skills and video marketing skills for the job search. Video Resume Academy emerged from the outcomes of her master’s thesis research based on the current trend toward using asynchronous video interviews in the hiring process. Kimberley completed her Master of Arts degree in education at Ontario Tech University and begins doctoral studies in education in the fall of 2023.
Apart from teaching, Kimberley is a public speaker and an advocate of her #bpositive and Take Your Power Back messages initiated to help others build resilience and promote an end to gender-based violence. Motivated by the overwhelming support received following trauma, she and her husband were inspired to create the Take Your Power Back show to promote the beauty of humanity in times of crisis through the art of dance, storytelling, and music. For fun, Kimberley is an avid salsa dancer and a lover of all things comedy. In her spare time, she takes Second City comedy writing classes to learn how to add humour to her keynotes and her book, Take Your Power Back, due for release in 2024.
